Steierform - innovative self-adhesive technology

Steierform provides fast, tailor-made solutions, e.g. for surface protection during painting, flame treatment, coating in automotive or parts production, by offering precisely fitting cuts made of self-adhesive materials that are precisely tailored to the respective application. This means that significant cost advantages can be achieved compared to conventional masking from the roll, especially in problem areas (curves, corners that must be precisely adhered to, etc.), thanks to the faster handling of finished cut. In addition, there is an improvement in quality, as the critical geometries are precisely reproduced by the always identical shape of the cuts. The unproblematic, straight areas of the workpiece are usually still covered by the roll.

The often very special shapes of the covers are developed at Steierform in the shortest possible time using the latest prototyping technology and brought to series production. The basis for this is either the customer's CAD data sets or the submission of a sample of the workpieces to be masked for the production of cuts.

Of course, Steierform cuts are also used

• for permanent bonding of mirrors, lettering, protective strips, step protection
• as stone chip protection, abrasion protection, edge protection
• for soft storage of sensitive electronic parts
• as rattle protection
• as a seal against dust
• as an assembly aid

and in all conceivable combinations of these requirements. Depending on the consumer's requirements, printed stickers are used for permanent or temporary part labeling in quality assurance or logistics. Scratch- and oil-resistant versions are also available for this purpose.

flexROLL®

Do customers stick from the roll? With flexROLL^®, Steierform offers a roll-cut program specially tailored to customer requirements with various material qualities in different thicknesses and widths. Deliverable as "express" in express service within 2-3 days, under "special" and "converting" by arrangement.

Steierform offers a sample service, i.e. creation of samples, pilot series and small runs in jet cutting.

Through the close cooperation of the Steier field service and the sales department at the head office with the customer, the optimal solution to the problem is found quickly and purposefully. If the precisely fitting die cut or rolled goods are required, they can usually be delivered immediately from stock.
